Below is a list of features your end-users will have, should you decide to choose Panacea Mobile as your Enterprise SMS Gateway Software provider.

The Send Message interface is a simple way for users of the Panacea Mobile SMS Gateway
to send messages other than using the SMPP or HTTP API’s.

Users can send to a single number, a single group, multiple groups or all groups in their address book. To keep it simple the system has a built in merge feature so customized (firstname, surname) messages can be sent out on the fly.

This interface, although simple by looks, still leverages the power of the high speed batch processor so messages sent here can apply all the features and speed associated with the gateway.

Address Book

To keep distribution lists organized, the SMS Gateway comes with a built in address book system.

Contacts can be imported into different groups and also their first name and surnames can be stored, useful for when doing merges via the send interface.

Import’s can be done via CSV file. The send interface automatically removes duplicates when doing batch sends.

High Speed Batch Processing

Another key feature of the Panacea Mobile SMS Gateway is the extremely powerful batch processor which is attached.

Batches are either created via the send interface or can be uploaded via CSV. Batches are processed by a dedicated background process. These batches can be paused/restarted during processing and in addition to this can be throughput controlled (eg: 10/second) which is essential so as not to flood certain systems when data is returned.

Batches can have (at the user discretion) full failure and delivery tracking (failures, delivered, etc) as indicated by the reports above.

Reporting

There are numerous reports available to end-users our SMS Gateway system.

These reports give the user enough information about their messaging activity without putting any severe load or impact on systems.

The reports available include:

• Daily inbound (MO) messaging reports (CSV exportable)
• Daily outbound (MT) messaging reports (CSV exportable)
• Daily cost reports, broken down by country and network, with associated costs, graphed.
• Last 10 messages
• Batch delivery reporting (broken down per batch, per day, by status)

Certain reports are also emailed to users daily depending on their notification preferences.

E-Mail notifications

Our SMS Gateway also provides email notifications to end-users as well as administrative users.

User’s can elect to be notified when their account balance drops below a certain level, so they can ‘top up’. In addition to this they can receive their daily costing reports via email.

Payments

Our SMS Gateway has an extensible architecture for allowing payments by end-users. This can either be a fully automated process, or require approval by an administrator.

An end-user can simply login to their control panel, and select the ‘buy now’ link, which will then allow them to proceed to payment. Administrators will be notified of all payments, which they can then approve or decline via the billing section in the administration console

Sub-Users

To keep things simple the Panacea Mobile SMS Gateway allows existing users to create ’sub’ users. This could be to organize divisions within a company for easier tracking of information.

Sub-users can either have completely separate billing, or they can be billed from the owner account.

One of the new features our SMS Gateway is the reseller system, which allows the administrator to set certain users as ‘resellers’. Resellers have their own pricing (as per normal) but in addition to this, resellers can set their own custom pricing for their sub-users. When messages are sent, both the reseller and the sub-user are billed at the applicable rates. This allows for easy franchise businesses to start up and other revenue possibilities.
